MEET JORDAN

I am a driven, creative professional looking for career opportunities in residential interior architectural design.
After graduating from Elon University with a BSBA in marketing and beginning a career in digital advertising, I found myself feeling unsatisfied with my work. I quickly realized a career without artistic creativity would never work for me, and my lifelong passion for interior design drove me to enroll in the UCLA Interior Architecture certificate program.
When the pandemic led to a school shutdown, I decided to slow down my class schedule with the hope that I could return for in-person classes soon enough. This new abundance of free time inspired me to lean into my talent for baking, and I established a home bakery business called La Lune Bakeshop. It wasn’t long before word of my intricately decorated custom cookies spread across L.A., leading to a feature in a local newspaper and business from some of the city’s top event planners and brands, like Betsy Johnson. Over the past 2.5 years running my business, I honed my client communications skills, my design and editing abilities, and adjusted my education workload as needed.
Now with only two capstone classes left in the program, I am ready to commit full time to my design career. I hope to apply the knowledge I’ve accumulated in my six years of corporate, entrepreneurial, and educational experience to the real world of residential interior architectural design.
